He has taught information literacy in two high school libraries, at the University of Toronto at Mississauga and, since 2009, at the Newmarket Public Library where he is Digital Services Librarian. Teaching digital literacy in the public library takes on many forms. There is one-on-one technical assistance, which requires familiarity with Internet and software programs available on library computers.
